What I Watched Last Month (March 2020)

With the coronavirus pandemic and quarantine upon us, I’ve had a little more time to try and get through my ever growing list of “watchables.” I also have some exciting news to share with everyone. I had been doing tv reviews on a freelance basis for the awesome entertainment site AwardsCircuit…I am now the new Associate Writer for the film department which I am super stoked about. Reviewing tv shows is fun, but goodness knows its time consuming.  So be on the lookout for my reviews to come!

But here’s a look at what I watched in March:

If you haven’t seen them, here’s what I recommend checking out…

“Isi & Ossi” a German rom-com…Netflix original…fun watch

“The Platform” was trending on Netflix and this Spanish film was really out there, but interesting enough

“The Wolfpack” is a documentary about a group of brothers in NYC who have never left their small apartment and live their lives through reenacting the movies that they watch

“It’s a Disaster” a humorous black comedy about a group of friends gathered together for a brunch during an apocalyptic event

“To Be or Not To Be” a black and white classic filled with spies and deceit and some laughs

“Green Room” is bananas…Patrick Stewart as a crazy neo-nazi…enough said

“Contagion” just because of the times we’re currently living in…

“The Squid and the Whale” is a realistic look at a family going through separation and divorce.

This month focused on more movies, but I did finish Season 3 of the German show “Babylon Berlin,” the most recent season of the Danish “The Rain,” Netflix’s “Tiger King” and I started “Dave,” “Breeders,” “The Outsider” and finally “Watchmen.” So plenty more quick reviews to come.
