Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays!

What’s my favorite Christmas movie, you ask?! Why, “White Christmas” of course. This to me is the epitome of a holiday movie…there’s singing and dancing, comedy, romance, drama, over-the-topness, a Christmas setting and all the feels!

Starring some of the biggest names from old Hollywood…Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye (one of my absolute faves), Rosemary Clooney, Vera-Ellen and Dean Jagger, “White Christmas” tells the story of two war buddies who have gone on to become two of the countries biggest entertainers who are duped into brining a sister act into their show. When they find out that their old general has fallen on hard times, they produce a benefit show for him. And you’ve gotta throw in some romance drama and comedy for good measure. Featuring one of the most iconic Christmas songs and two of my favorite musical numbers (“Sisters” and “The Best Things (Happen While You’re Dancing)”), this movie always gets me into the holiday spirit. Its even one I can watch when its not Christmas time.
