A “new” take on “Beauty and the Beast”…a morality play about vanity…

I knew I was in for a long ride as soon as this one started. Starring Alex Pettyfer (“I Am Number Four”) and Vanessa Hudgens, the acting and dialogue was very blah. And the “queen of blah,” Dakota Johnson was also in this teen drama. This one was very hard to get through…proceed with caution…you’d be better off watching “Beauty and the Beast” again. Currently available to rent on Amazon Prime Video.
