Let me start by saying I’m a huge “Bridget Jones” franchise fan! I’m not quite as hopeless as Bridget (when she started out), but there are a lot of parallels in our lives as single 30-something LOL. It was great see Bridget (Renée Zellweger seems like a perfect match for this character), her friends and Mr. Darcy back at it years later. The ever stoic Mr. Darcy actually lets loose and shows some emotion and it doesn’t hurt that Colin Firth seems to get sexier with age (and he looks damn good in a 3-piece suit…something about that perceived English sophistication). SPOILER: I’m so happy that Bridget and Mr. Darcy finally got together! Happy ending for all if you’re looking for a cute movie, this is a good one.
