One of the funniest movies I’ve seen in a long time…with a great ensemble cast and a fresh premise (at least to me). As one who lives for a great game night, this movie really resonated with me lol. Jason Bateman (who I absolutely love) and Rachel McAdams’ chemistry was great and they really played well-off each other. I think McAdams does comedy pretty well and I love Bateman’s straight man comedy (Arrested Development and Ozark are two of my favorite shows). I also love seeing Jeffrey Wright do comedy…he’s such a talented actor! Co-directed by John Francis Daley (of Freaks and Geeks and Bones fame) and Jonathan Goldstein (Horrible Bosses writer), this movie was well cast and the supporting actors each brought their own flavor and quirkiness to the film and really made it fun. My only gripe with this movie is that there may have been 1 plot twist too many…but did that hint at the possibility of a sequel??? If so, I’m down!
